‘Suhagrat Express’ goes viral after 1st AC train coupe is transformed into a wedding suite; internet asks, ‘Who allowed this?’

A video showing a 1st AC railway coupe transformed into what looks like a wedding suite is going viral across social media. Decorated with flowers, balloons, rose petals, and fairy lights, the compartment has earned the nickname “Suhagrat Express,” with the unusual setup drawing both praise and questions over whether it had official permission.

Video shared by event decorator

According to media reports, the viral clip was originally shared on Instagram by Jalna-based event decoration service provider “Rahat Room Decoration.” Although the original post is no longer available, the video has been widely reshared across social media. The video begins from the platform before moving inside the coach. It then passes through the regular corridor and reaches a coupe that has been decorated differently from the others. A pink beaded curtain with heart-shaped cutouts has been placed at the entrance, making the compartment stand out immediately.

The ceiling is covered with red and white balloons, while the floor is lined with red rose petals. Bouquets and flower garlands made with roses, marigolds, and tuberose have been arranged around the compartment and near the windows. The lower berth has been neatly prepared with white bedsheets and a heart-shaped design created using red and white flower petals. Rose petals have also been scattered across the bed. The folded upper berth displays cutouts reading “I love you,” and small fairy lights complete the decoration.

Internet users share mixed reactions

As the video spread across social media platforms, users responded with different opinions. While some appreciated the concept, others focused on whether the decoration had the necessary approval. One individual wrote, “I don’t know if this is legal, but this is a nice idea to attract couples and get some money by selling these coaches/coupes at a good rate to help railways make a profit. Also, I hope privacy will be taken care of. We don’t want nonsense happening as many hotels do.”Another posted, “They have permission?”A third expressed, “Money does everything.”Disclaimer: This article is based on a social media post.
