TS LAWCET 2026 counselling: The Telangana Council of Higher Education (TGCHE) has commenced the first phase of TS LAWCET 2026 web-based counselling today, July 5, 2026, for admissions to three-year LL.B. and five-year integrated LL.B. courses for the 2026-27 academic session. Eligible candidates who qualified in the entrance examination can now complete online registration, pay the processing fee and upload scanned copies of required certificates through the official counselling portal.The online registration-cum-certificate verification process will remain available from July 5 to July 10, 2026. The notification issued by TGCHE serves as the official call for web counselling, and no separate call letters will be issued. Candidates must complete every stage within the prescribed schedule, as participation in counselling alone does not guarantee seat allotment.Registration and verification scheduleCandidates are required to register online, furnish the prescribed details and upload supporting documents for certificate verification. Those applying under special categories, including NCC, CAP, PH and Sports, must complete physical verification at the Directorate of Admissions, Osmania University, Hyderabad, through slot booking between July 6 and July 9, 2026, according to the notified category-wise schedule.The list of verified candidates will be displayed on July 15, 2026. Web options for the first phase of counselling can be exercised from July 16 to July 19, 2026, while candidates will be allowed to edit their choices on July 20, 2026. Processing fee and seat allotmentApplicants belonging to the General category must pay a non-refundable processing fee of Rs 800, while SC/ST candidates are required to pay Rs 500 through online payment modes. Tuition fee details and college-wise Convener Quota seat availability will be published on the counselling website before web option entry begins.The provisional seat allotment list for Phase I will be released on July 24, 2026. Candidates allotted seats must report to the respective colleges between July 25 and July 28, 2026 with original certificates and tuition fee payment receipts for admission formalities.Admission conditionsCandidates must satisfy the eligibility conditions prescribed under the relevant government orders for admission to regular three-year and five-year LL.B. programmes. Physical reporting at the allotted college is compulsory in every phase. Fresh web options must be submitted for each counselling phase, and previous options will not be carried forward. Failure to pay the prescribed tuition fee within the notified period will result in automatic cancellation of the allotted seat.
