PUNE: Ketan Agarwal’s uncle, Kuldeep Agarwal, on Sunday said the death of the 26-year-old Pune realtor came as a “massive shock” to his grandfather, Devichand Agarwal, who died on Saturday after suffering a cardiac arrest.Speaking after Devichand Agarwal’s last rites, Kuldeep Agarwal said the family was devastated by the loss of both Ketan and his grandfather within a span of 17 days.“When my nephew passed away, it was such a massive shock to my father that he didn’t tell anyone for 13 days, not until his cremation was done. Two days later, his health deteriorated, and he passed away. Within 17 days, both left us,” Kuldeep Agarwal said.The family had earlier said Devichand Agarwal, 71, had been unwell since Ketan’s death. He died at around 9.45 pm on Saturday after suffering a cardiac arrest.Ketan Agarwal died after falling from Lohagad Fort near Pune on June 18. The case, initially registered as an accidental death, was later converted into a murder investigation.Police have arrested Ketan’s fiancée, Siya Goyal (20), and her alleged lover, Chetan Chaudhary (22), accusing them of pushing him into a gorge.
