‘Dutton Ranch’ season 1
Season 1 centred on Beth and Rip’s work at the 10 Petal Ranch, run by the Jackson family. Beth initially worked for Beulah Jackson, the matriarch of the family, while allying with Rip. The final episode of Season 1 finally revealed the secret mission. Beth and Rip discovered the 10 Petal Ranch had been in a massive drug smuggling operation for fifteen years. The cattle transported from Mexico were used as drug mules, with fentanyl concealed inside them. When the cattle arrived at the 10 Petal, the drugs were extracted and distributed. When a new shipment arrived at the beginning of the episode, Rip and Beth decided to investigate. Rob-Will showed up to try and stop them, but Rip dispatched him and retrieved Rob-Will’s secret tally book that revealed which cattle were carrying drugs. The confession cost her everything when Everett walked away from their relationship.
