Tata Motors has dropped another teaser of the upcoming Sierra EV ahead of its launch on June 30, revealing fresh details about the electric SUV’s interior, features and driving range. One of the biggest highlights is the range indication displayed on the digital instrument cluster, which suggests the Sierra EV could offer a claimed driving range of over 500 km on a full charge.

In the latest teaser, the instrument cluster shows the battery at 80 percent with a remaining range of 424 km. While Tata Motors has not officially confirmed the certified range, the displayed figures indicate that the Sierra EV could deliver over 500 km on a full charge. The teaser also offers the clearest look yet at the SUV’s cabin. It features a floating centre console and a two-spoke steering wheel with an illuminated Tata EV logo. Another notable addition is a dedicated Boost Mode. Activated via a physical button on the centre console, the feature is expected to temporarily unlock maximum power and torque. The video also confirms multiple Terrain Modes for the Sierra EV. During an off-road demonstration on the Tal Moreeb sand dunes in Abu Dhabi, the driver display shows Sand Mode in operation. The Sierra EV is expected to sit between the Curvv EV and Harrier EV in Tata Motors’ electric vehicle portfolio. Multiple battery pack options are likely to be available, including 55 kWh and 65 kWh units, while higher variants could borrow the larger 75 kWh battery pack from the Harrier EV.Tata is also expected to offer the Sierra EV with a long list of premium features. Lower variants could get a dual-screen dashboard, while top-spec versions are likely to feature a triple-screen layout similar to the ICE Sierra. Other expected features include a panoramic sunroof, ventilated front seats, dual-zone climate control, wireless phone charging, a powered tailgate, a 360-degree camera, connected car technology, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, along with a 12-speaker JBL audio system with Dolby Atmos support. On the outside, the Sierra EV retains the familiar silhouette of its ICE sibling but gets several EV-specific styling elements. These include a closed-off front fascia with a body-coloured panel, connected LED DRLs, vertically stacked LED fog lamps and a full-width LED light bar at the rear. The Tata Sierra EV is scheduled to make its official debut on June 30 and will rival models such as the Mahindra BE 6, Hyundai Creta Electric and Maruti Suzuki e Vitara in India’s growing electric SUV segment.
