Does VP not have his own login? Odd detail from JD Vance-Jared Kushner's photo triggers concerns
One detail of JD Vance’s photo triggered security concerns.

Qatari Prime Minister Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al Thani shared a photo of Vice President JD Vance with Jared Kushner. “Live from Lucerne, work continues with @VP & @jaredkushner,” the post read. Both Vance and Kushner were looking at something on the laptop, which looked like Vance’s as he he was using it. But keen-eyed social media users quickly zoomed in on a card inserted to the laptop and asked why the card seemed to have a woman’s photo on it.The card looked like a common access card, used by US defense personnel but the photo on it was clearly a woman’s.Journalist Caroline Orr Bueno wrote, “I would love to know the intended symbolism of Qatar’s prime minister posting a picture of JD Vance logging into a laptop using someone else’s CAC card,” and suggested, “There is 100% a read-between-the-lines message being sent.”Retired US intelligence officer Travis Akers said the photo reflected pure incompetence at every turn. “This photo was published of the Prime Minister of Qatar, Vice President JD Vance and Jared Kushner. What’s the problem? Giving a foreign leader visual access to a USG laptop, while using someone else’s CAC to log in. Pure incompetence at every turn,” Akers wrote. Many social media users pointed out that more than the card, the presence of the Qatari PM with a full view of JD Vance’s laptop was more worrying. Others claimed that the Vice President was probably not using his laptop and just needed a laptop to see something, and that’s why there was no breach either in using someone else’s card or allowing the Qatari PM to have a look at it
