The West Bengal Joint Entrance Examinations Board (WBJEEB) has declared the WBJEE 2026 results, today, June 18, 2026 in the press conference. The board confirmed that 92,753 candidates have qualified the examination this year. Shaswat Banerjee has emerged as the topper of WBJEE 2026 in the General Merit Rank (GMR) list. Souriddha Mondal secured the second position, while Umang Bhoot claimed the third rank. 71% male candidates appeared for the exam, 29% of females took the exam and 2 transgenders appeared.The merit list reflects the performance of candidates in Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry, which together determine their position in the state-level entrance examination.WBJEEB has stated that the official rank card download link will be activated on the examination website by 4 PM. Candidates will be able to access their rank cards through the official portal using their login credentials.To download the rank card, candidates must log in using their application number and password. The rank card will contain the candidate’s scores and ranks secured in the examination.

These include: Candidate’s Roll Number, WBJEE 2026 Application Number, Date of BirthTotal Marks Obtained, Composite Marks in Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry papers, General Merit Rank (GMR) or Pharmacy Merit Rank (PMR), Qualifying Status, and Candidate’s Photograph.Candidates are advised to preserve multiple copies of the rank card, as it will be required during document verification and counselling rounds.
