All India Medical Students’ Association (AIMSA) has strongly criticised remarks made by MBBS student Dr Sejal Pawar during a stand-up comedy show in Gurugram, calling them “insensitive and disrespectful” towards cadavers and body donors. In a post on X, the association said such comments were “completely unacceptable” and go against the values of medical education. We demand an immediate apology and strict action against those responsible.”AIMSA warned that if no action is taken, it may consider legal options to ensure accountability. “Respect the donor,” it added. The controversy has also triggered legal action.
