Hyderabad: In a bid to woo investors from Telangana and South India, the Chhattisgarh govt is all set to conduct an ‘Investor Connect’ programme in partnership with the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) on June 12 in Hyderabad.The outreach event, which is part of a series of investor meetings being conducted across major Indian cities to showcase Chhattisgarh’s industrial ecosystem and project-ready opportunities, is aimed at projecting the state as an emerging industrial hub.As part of this, Chhattisgarh chief minister Vishnu Deo Sai will interact with industry captains from Telangana Inc to seek fresh investments in the state by highlighting its investor-oriented industrial policies, infrastructure and logistics advantages, and the incentive framework available for new and expanding units.As Hyderabad is a major hub for pharmaceuticals, life sciences, medical devices, electronics and information technology, the Chhattisgarh delegation will focus on attracting investment from the pharmaceutical, electronics manufacturing, food processing and advanced manufacturing sectors.The programme will also include one-on-one meetings with prospective investors to enable direct discussions on project requirements, timelines and potential locations.According to the Chhattisgarh govt, the state plans to highlight factors such as competitive operating costs, access to natural resources, availability of skilled manpower and supportive policy measures.The Chhattisgarh govt will also issue ‘Invitation to Invest’ letters to select investors to encourage and expedite potential projects.The Chhattisgarh govt has already held ‘Investor Connect’ events in New Delhi, Mumbai, Bengaluru, Ahmedabad, Bastar and Raipur, which drew multiple investment proposals.
