Another paper leak scare: APJ Abdul Kalam Technical University cancels BTech exam at Noida centre

Dr APJ Abdul Kalam Technical University (AKTU) has cancelled a BTech examination conducted at a Noida centre after allegations of a question paper leak surfaced. The paper was held on May 21.The university said the decision was taken to protect the integrity of the examination process. Students from the affected centre will now have to appear for a re-exam with a fresh question paper on June 5.At present, only candidates who appeared for the mentioned BTech Computer Science 6th semester exam for the Computer Networks subject at the Noida institute are confirmed to be affected. There is no official information about any impact on students from other centres or other examinations. However, the university has advised students to continue checking official updates regularly.The exam was cancelled after concerns were raised that some candidates may have received an unfair advantage due to the alleged leak. The university has launched an inquiry and is coordinating with the examination centre authorities. The investigation include checking CCTV footage, reviewing invigilation records and verifying the distribution process of question papers.AKTU also confirmed that a re-exam will be conducted for the affected paper. The revised exam date, centre details and updated admit cards will be announced through an official notification.The university said results for the concerned course and semester may be delayed until the re-exam process and evaluation are completed.Students should keep all exam-related documents, including admit cards, entry slips and stamped receipts, safely with them.
