Honda Cars India recently launched the much-anticipated Honda City facelift sedan in the Indian market. The new City features cosmetic design changes, updated interior, added features and much more. The sedan continues to rival the Volkswagen Virtus, Skoda Slavia and Hyundai Verna in the Indian market. Interested customers can book the new City online or by visiting their nearest dealership. The V trim costs Rs 13.29 lakh for the manual and Rs 14.29 lakh for the CVT. The ZX variant is priced at Rs 15.25 lakh for the manual and Rs 16.25 lakh for the CVT. The top-of-the-line ZX+ variant is priced at Rs 16.14 lakh for the manual, Rs 17.14 lakh for the CVT. The strong hybrid variant is priced at Rs 20.99 lakh (ex-showroom). The Hyundai Verna facelift receives new variant names and is offered in six variants – HX2, HX4, HX6, HX6+, HX8, and HX10. It’s priced between Rs 10.98 lakh and Rs 18.25 lakh (both prices ex-showroom).

The Honda City facelift measures 4,584 mm in length, 1,748 mm in width, 1,489 mm in height, has a 2,600 mm wheelbase, 165 mm ground clearance, and a 506-litre boot space.Compared to the Honda City facelift, the Hyundai Verna facelift is 49 mm shorter, 17 mm wider and 14 mm lower. Another engine option is a 160 hp, 253 nm 1.5-litre turbo petrol with a 6-speed manual or a 7-speed DCT. The Honda City is offered in two engine options – a 1.5-litre, 4-cylinder, NA petrol engine that puts out 121bhp and 145Nm of torque and comes paired either with a 6-speed MT or a CVT gearbox. There’s also a segment-first hybrid powertrain offer, a 1.5-litre Atkinson cycle hybrid engine with 124 hp and 253 nm torque. The carmaker claims a fuel efficiency of 27.26kpl for the hybrid version.
