The makers of ‘Dhamaal 4’, the latest instalment in one of Bollywood’s most popular comedy franchises, have once again revised the film’s release plans. According to trade analyst Taran Adarsh, the Ajay Devgn-led entertainer is now scheduled to hit theatres on July 3, 2026. This latest shift comes after the makers realised that the new date falls on an auspicious occasion. Keeping this positive timing in mind, the team decided to reshuffle their theatrical strategy, believing it would work in the film’s favour at the box office.
How has the release timeline evolved
Originally, ‘Dhamaal 4’ was slated for a March 19, 2026 release. However, as the date approached, Ajay Devgn, who not only plays a crucial role in the franchise but is also one of its producers, chose to postpone the film to avoid a box-office clash with big releases such as ‘Dhurandhar: The Revenge’ and ‘Toxic’. As a result, June 12, 2026 was announced as the new date. Now, with another revision in place, July 3, 2026 has been finalised as the film’s theatrical arrival.
Familiar faces return with new additions in ‘Dhamaal 4’
Directed by Indra Kumar, ‘Dhamaal 4’ continues the franchise’s tradition of ensemble comedy by bringing back its core cast. Ajay Devgn, Riteish Deshmukh, Arshad Warsi, Sanjay Mishra and Jaaved Jaaferi reprise their roles, while actors such as Esha Gupta, Sanjeeda Shaikh, Anjali Anand, Upendra Limaye, Vijay Patkar and Ravi Kishan join the series, adding fresh energy to the film.
What does the new release window mean?
Produced by Ajay Devgn, Bhushan Kumar, Krishan Kumar, Ashok Thakeria, Indra Kumar, Anand Pandit and Kumar Mangat Pathak, ‘Dhamaal 4’ is now eyeing a more favourable mid-year holiday window. With fewer competing releases expected around the same time, the comedy aims for a smoother and potentially stronger theatrical run when it finally arrives on July 3, 2026.
