Navi Mumbai: A grudge between close friends over supremacy in social and political circles in their locality ended up with three men assaulting and stabbing their friend with a knife, causing his death in Yadav Nagar slum pocket in Digha area on Oct 22 night. Subsequently, the Rabale MIDC police registered a murder case and arrested two accused by tracing them to Taloja and Vashi areas within three hours.Devidas Kathale, senior inspector of Rabale MIDC, informed that the murder victim has been identified as Divakar Yadav (25). The arrested accused are Yogesh Niranjan Jaiswal alias Bobby (25) and Krushna Dilip Singh (24). The third accused, identified as Vivek Rajendra Yadav (25), has been admitted to JJ hospital, Mumbai, as he has also sustained injuries during the confrontation. He will also be arrested after he is discharged. The arrested accused have been remanded in police custody till Oct 28.
