Fulbright scholar on campus
SCMS Pune was privileged to host Fulbright Scholar Dr Robert DeCou from Peninsula College, USA. During his visit, Dr DeCou engaged with students and faculty through guest lectures, faculty development programmes, curriculum enrichment initiatives, and campus and community-based social innovation activities, significantly enhancing academic discourse and global engagement.

Outbound exchange opportunities are available at renowned institutions such as Berlin School of Economics & Law (Germany), DHBW (Germany), Hochschule Mainz (Germany), IESEG (France), ESSEC (France), ISEG Lisbon (Portugal), DePaul University (USA), Leeds Beckett University (UK), and Deakin University (Australia), among many others.Complementing outbound mobility, SCMS Pune also welcomes inbound exchange students for up to two semesters, offering them academic exposure and insights into Indian culture, economy, and management practices. Additionally, students participate in global Summer and Winter School programmes at prestigious universities such as Harvard University and the London School of Economics, further enriching their international experience.
Short-term and collaborative international initiatives
To broaden global engagement beyond physical mobility, SCMS Pune introduced Collaborative Online International Learning (COIL)—a virtual exchange platform enabling students to collaborate on academic projects with peers from partner universities worldwide. Since its inception in 2019–20, COIL has engaged hundreds of learners in cross-cultural co-learning.The institution has also conducted custom short-term international programmes, including an International Business Programme for students from Oman and a tailored Bridge Course for Afghan students, reflecting its commitment to inclusive and globally centred education.Further strengthening postgraduate pathways, SCMS Pune has partnered with Massey University (New Zealand), University of Birmingham (UK), Aston University (UK), and Loughborough University (UK) for various master’s programmes.
Global BBA: A flagship transnational undergraduate programme
SCMS Pune’s global academic portfolio is further enhanced through its flagship Global BBA Programme, offering structured international exposure across multiple campuses. Under this programme, Semesters 1 and 2 are delivered at Symbiosis campuses in India, Semesters 3 and 4 at the Symbiosis Dubai campus, and Semesters 5 to 8 at Deakin University, Australia.Graduates earn dual degrees—a BBA (Honours / Honours with Research) from Symbiosis International (Deemed University) and a Bachelor in Business Analytics from Deakin University—preparing them to become globally agile professionals equipped for future leadership roles.
