The government has appointed Air Marshal Ashutosh Dixit as the 29th Chief of the Air Staff, with effect from 31 October 2026. Dixit, currently the Vice Chief of the Air Staff, will succeed Air Chief Marshal Amar Preet Singh and brings nearly four decades of service experience, including operational and strategic assignments and more than 3,500 hours of flying.Read full story

MEA condemns attacks on commercial vessels as Indian seafarers are injured
