The North Western Railway (NWR) has invited applications for Apprentice posts. Eligible candidates will be able to apply online through the official NWR website at rrcjaipur.in.The registration process will begin on October 7, 2026. The last date to submit the application form is November 6, 2026.This recruitment drive will fill 2,008 Apprentice posts in North Western Railway.
NWR Apprentice recruitment 2026 : Eligibility criteria
Candidates must have passed Class 10 or its equivalent under the 10+2 examination system with at least 50% aggregate marks from a recognised board. No rounding off of marks will be allowed.Candidates must also have a National Trade Certificate (NTC) in the notified trade issued by the National Council for Vocational Training (NCVT) or State Council for Vocational Training (SCVT).The candidate should be at least 15 years old and should not have completed 24 years of age as on November 6, 2026.
Selection process
Candidates will be selected on the basis of a merit list prepared from the applications received.The merit list will be based on the percentage of marks obtained in Class 10 and Industrial Training Institute (ITI) marks in the relevant trade. The panel will be prepared using the simple average of the Class 10 and ITI marks.The final merit list will be prepared division-wise, unit-wise, trade-wise and community-wise. Candidates will be placed in descending order of their percentage of marks, based on the number of available slots.
Application fee
The application fee is Rs 100 for candidates who are required to pay the fee.Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST), Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PwBD) and women candidates are exempted from paying the application fee.The fee can be paid online through debit card, credit card or internet banking. Any transaction charges for the online payment will have to be borne by the candidate.
