Indian pilot Smit Machchhar has been hailed as a hero after he prevented a crash of a flydubai jet bound for Israel on Wednesday.
Despite being stabbed by his co-pilot, the captain of flight FZ103 managed to open the cockpit door which allowed the cabin crew and passengers to intervene and prevent the aircraft from crashing.
