Ukraine targets Ilsky oil refinery in Russia’s Krasnodar region
Ukraine said it struck Ilsky oil refinery in Russia’s Black Sea region of Krasnodar as Kyiv’s military maintains regular attacks against the Kremlin’s energy infrastructure while fending off waves of drones.The overnight hit ignited a blaze at the facility, Ukrainian General Staff said Saturday on Telegram.A drone attack in Krasnodar region affected two facilities, the regional governor said earlier. Three people were killed in the incident.The independent Ilsky plant, located about 850km southeast of Kyiv, has a design capacity of about 6.6 million tonnes a year. It’s been repeatedly targeted since the early phase of Ukraine’s campaign.Russia’s defence ministry said its forces intercepted and destroyed 645 Ukrainian drones overnight.
