In a recent episode of Bigg Boss 20, contestant YUNG DSA recently opened up about his equation with legendary boxer Mary Kom and spoke about the deep-rooted respect he continues to have for her, irrespective of the circumstances or situations that may arise between them. As both personalities may share a common space and find themselves involved in different conversations and situations, YUNG made it clear that, for him, there will always be a boundary when it comes to Mary Kom.Speaking about his equation with the boxing legend, YUNG revealed that his respect for Mary Kom goes back much further than their current association. He recalled growing up reading about her achievements during his school days, having chapters about her and discussing her journey with his friends. For YUNG, Mary Kom has always been a name that represented determination, discipline and achievement, making his perspective towards her deeply influenced by the journey and that he cannot even think of crossing a boundary with someone of that level.YUNG said that he had studied about Mary Kom in school, his perception of her is not limited to being a fellow personality or someone he is currently sharing a platform with. He has grown up knowing about her achievements and the challenges she overcame to establish herself as one of India’s most recognised names and representing country at International level and winning so many gold medals.Reflecting on the admiration he has always had for her, YUNG also recalled a thought he had expressed earlier, saying, “Agar meri maa Mary Kom hoti na, toh mujhe nahi lagta main rap karne ke peeche padta. Main ghar pe baithta aur padhai karta.” He did mention it in witty and funny manner yet meant it.YUNG further clarified that irrespective of what happens between them or whatever situations they may encounter, he would always ensure that a certain line of respect is maintained. According to him, there are some people whose journeys command a different kind of regard, and Mary Kom is one of those personalities for him.Yung was recently heartbroken because of lack of support from Mahhi Vij in the game. He was also seen getting emotional expressing about his feelings, he stated, I considered her my mother and I’m very hurt by this kind of behaviour.Talking about his thoughts Yung stated, “No matter what happens between me and Mary Kom no matter whatever the situation will be, I can never disrespect her. I can never cross that boundary. I will always maintain a certain boundary with her because I have read about her since I was in school. We had chapters about her achievements. our teachers used to give us examples about her.”
