A video shared by TGR Live Events on September 15 showed Woods hitting shots during the NEXUS Cup at Liberty National. The caption said, “Shaping shots on the range today at NEXUS Cup.” The PGA Tour also shared the footage, noting that Woods had not made a PGA Tour start since July 2024.The NEXUS Cup is an amateur team golf event connected to Woods’ TGR Foundation. The official NEXUS Cup website lists Liberty National as the venue for the September 14 and 15 event, while TGR Live says proceeds from its events support the TGR Foundation’s work with young people.Woods’ presence was notable because he has not competed on the PGA Tour since the 2024 Open Championship. He did return to competitive golf earlier this year in TGL, playing for Jupiter Links during the league’s finals in March, but this is his first public golf appearance since his Florida arrest.
