Dehradun: Army Public School (APS), Birpur, hosted a two-day Idea and Innovation Hack Fest-2026 on Sept 9 and 10, bringing together teams from eight Army Public Schools under the Army Welfare Education Society’s (AWES) Central Command.The event, aimed at encouraging innovation, problem-solving and technology skills among students, saw participation from APS No 2 Jabalpur, APS Prayagraj, APS Ayodhya, APS Meerut, APS Agra, APS Birpur, APS LBS Marg Lucknow and APS NR Lucknow.The participating teams presented their projects before a four-member judging panel. APS Agra emerged winner and secured the gold medal, while APS Prayagraj and APS No 2 Jabalpur finished second and third respectively.The results were announced at the Clement Town Officers’ Institute in Dehradun on September 10. Brig Sudhir Chamoli, chairman of APS Birpur, congratulated the participating teams for their innovative efforts.
