From air combat missions to temple affairs: New Ram Mandir CEO has his task cut out

Months after the Ram Mandir donation scam triggered nationwide outrage, the temple trust on Wednesday (September 2) appointed a decorated military veteran as its first chief executive officer (CEO), in a move aimed at tightening its administrative and financial management.
Air Marshal Jeetendra Mishra, who served as chief of the Western Air Command during Operation Sindoor and retired from the post in April this year, described the appointment as “God’s order” and said it gave him “another opportunity to serve the nation”.
